We visited La Gomera during the Christmas period, choosing to stay in San Sebastian: this city, the capital of the island, is connected to the port of Los Cristianos in Tenerife several times a day by ferry, and offers the possibility of renting a car, which is essential to move around the island and reach all points of interest.

Being an island dedicated to hiking, we recommend packing trekking shoes, poles and a Goretex shell in your suitcase.
