The province of Cuneo has more than three quarters of its mountainous and hilly territory: the Cottian Alps, the Ligurian Alps and the hilly areas of the Langhe and Roero surround it respectively to the west, south and east, forming a U at the center of which is Cuneo, the capital of the area.

Its valleys, in which some of the most important Italian rivers such as the Po and the Tanaro flow, each have their own natural, historical and cultural peculiarities.

All these ingredients make it an ideal place for all sportsmen and hikers, who have a "mountain of opportunities" at their disposal to spend days and holidays in the open air, enjoying symbolic products of Italian cuisine (the word Castelmagno tells you something?).
