Aveto valley Natural Park
Aveto valley Natural Park
On the border between Liguria and Emilia Romagna there is the park with the highest peaks of the Ligurian Apennines. In this corner far from the big cities, nature has created fascinating environments, where beech forests, with their colorful autumn carpets of leaves, alternate with lush green prairies. Here you can also find various farms that produce tasty gastronomic products. The park's paths are frequented by hikers as well as gourmands or families who want to find a bit of tranquility in the open air.
The area is one of the rainiest in Italy: the water is collected from a myriad of streams and rivulets that feed the Aveto, the main river that gives life and name to this incredible valley, which we will tell you about in this section.
