OUR TRIP TO ICELAND

Our trip to Iceland

Our trip to Iceland lasted 13 days, in the period of August.

In this article you will find our route, taken in the opposite direction (namely counterclockwise) compared to the classic tour on road 1. Having a 4X4 we cut the classic ring that takes road 1 almost in half, entering the area of the polar desert of Kerlingarfjoll. Also, towards the end of the trip, we added the beautiful Landmannalaugar area stop.

The weather with us was mild: for 11 days a splendid clear sky kept us company, with temperatures that were around 20°C!
